Rihanna...

I went and saw Rihanna on Friday night, I am not sure how I feel about the performance, let's just say I feel let down. I have since been told that she was sick, maybe she was but I just thought she would have sounded a little better.  In saying all of that I still love the way she continually reinvents herself, the latest bright red hair is my all time favourite.

Good Vibes....

Friday night and the body is tired after a huge week at work, the last thing I feel like doing is waking up tomorrow and heading to a festival! 

My husband and my best friend Heidi are super excited that we are all going to Good Vibes, not to mention that they announced this week you can take a friend for free!! 

This got the two of them acting like children calling each other deciding who they would take, sometimes I think poor Zane didn't realise when he was marrying me that Heidi was part of the package.........

 Me on the other hand, I haven't had the time to even think about a festival or even get remotely excited. I must admit the thought of seeing Fat freddy's drop, Phoenix and Erykah Badu does get the heart racing. 

I guess I just have to somehow pump myself up, my mind can't help thinking a relaxing day on the beach followed by a movie would suit me just fine!

 I can imagine the reaction I would receive sitting Zane and Heidi down and breaking the news that I am too tired the attend the festivities tomorrow, I am sure they would reply with "Can you still drive us there"

I know I will have a really good time, a good nights sleep can change everything.

Our hearts are with you......

As I sit here writing this, my eyes are burning and my body is feeling very sunkissed, I can't help but think how good is Summer! 

I had the most memorable day down at Currumbin beach, after a crazy week of work and running around helping organising the "Heartwave Beach Walk" to raise some much needed funds for the QLD flood victims. The day had finally arrived! 

It was a little emotional to see it all fall into place! The most exciting part was forming the "heart" to create the photo above. 

35 people came down from the Grantham area to spend the day with us on the beach, their stories made me  realise just how lucky I am, I don't think I have much too complain about. They have been through absolute hell. We took them out of that for one day and showed them a day of fun in the sun! 

A big thank you to Heidi Bartholomew for all the effort she put into organising this event. She is one good egg! 

Even better news, the story made every news channel locally and nationally! xx

Yay it's FRIDAY...........

I am so happy it is Friday! I have had the biggest week! Don't forget to come down to Currumbin Beach tomorrow and support a charity event I am involved in. Happy Friday people xx
